About CT Ecology

CT Ecology is an independent ecological consultancy which prides itself on its cost-effective and professional service. We have over 13 years experience in the ecology sector, providing ecological support for a range of projects from small scale developments through to large scale infrastructure schemes and we understand that every project is different. 

CT Ecology can undertake a range of ecological assessments; from baseline habitat surveys including Preliminary Ecological Appraisal’s through to specific protected species surveys. CT Ecology can also devise and implement tailored ecological mitigation and site enhancement measures.

We understand the importance of providing on-going ecological support for the duration of a project.

  • Ecology Chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments;
  • BREEAM Assessments;
  • Protected Species Surveys to include: great crested newt; hazel dormouse; bats; badger; reptiles; breeding birds; wintering birds; water vole; and otter ;
  • Ecological Management Plans;
  • Tailored Protected Species Mitigation and Site Enhancement Measures.

All assessments are undertaken in accordance with current guidelines and reports are suitable for submission to the local authority to support planning applications.
